You can order your tickets through our RSVP page. We will give you your ticket (which just so happens to be a wedding invitation) at the door as we mark you off our guest list.
Updating…
Doors open at 5:45pm. The ceremony starts promptly at 6:30pm and in order to flow without interruption, guests who arrive after 6:25 will be asked to wait to be seated until the conclusion of the ceremony.
It’s a wedding for the hippest people you (don’t actually) know, so take this opportunity to dress up a little!
Nope; everything from parking to dinner, drinks and dessert is included in your ticket price. We do ask that you leave your cameras at home since we will have some incredible photographers on hand to capture every detail for you.
The NotWedding is a complete mock wedding, so you can expect a ceremony, a sit-down dinner and a dance-party reception, along with plenty of surprises along the way. We want you to leave thinking that it was the best wedding you have ever been to, even if it was a fake one!
Yes, our NotCouple is a real couple, but they are already married and are serving as actors in this event’s story.
We share our vendors’ names and contact info with you on the website under Tunnel of Love, and then at the event you’ll receive a detailed program outlining each vendor and their work. We will also introduce the vendors during the event, and you will have a chance to hunt down your favorites in our Tunnel of Love as you leave The NotWedding.
Yes! We encourage wedding planners to attend the event as a way to get to know new vendors, and we also encourage planners to bring their brides as guests!
Photographer Callie Murray started The NotWedding in 2008 as way to showcase the work of her talented friends in the wedding industry. The 2011 NotWedding was the fourth annual event!
Yes! We are taking The NotWedding on a tour in 2012, and we are currently planning to visit Orlando and San Diego in addition to Atlanta. Interested in joining us? Want us to come to your city? Fill out our vendor application!
We are definitely accepting interns and volunteers, and we need lots and lots of them to pull off each event! Some intern positions are more involved (and could even be used for school credit) while others are just needed for the day of the event. If you’re interested, you can fill out our volunteer application here.
We choose the vendors through word-of-mouth referrals and through the applications we receive from interested wedding professionals. We like to offer our brides a wide range of styles and price points, and we try to find vendors with character and quality that we can believe in.
Each vendor invests a mixture of time, product and/or cash to make The NotWedding happen, depending on the vendor category. The NotWedding offers bridalshow-esque exposure coupled with web and print advertising and unmatchable networking opportunities, and we view participation in the event as a broad platform for marketing and branding possibilities. Check out our media kit to see what participation includes.
We don’t offer refunds for the tickets, but you are welcome to give away your ticket so that someone else may go in your place. Just email us and let us know so that we can change the names on our guest list.
